Advocate and Crisis Coordinator
Full time: 40 hr wk, some weekends /evenings, $34-36K.
Position responsibilities include: Develop & maintain a pool of volunteers to assist SA survivors; manage acute & follow-up response to sexual assault victims; help with community education, networking & service coordination; maintain data on services & produce reports.
Minimum Job Qualifications: 1. Degree (MA preferred) in Social Work, Counseling, Gender Studies or related; 2. Knowledge of sexual assault, trauma & healing dynamics; 3. Counseling / psychotherapy experience; 4. Experience training & working with volunteers; 5. Comfort with diverse cultures, esp. Latino/Chicano, LGBT & homeless constituents; Spanish proficiency is strongly desired.
